BOTTEGA SUPPORTS THE PROGETTO VULCANO

10 April 2025

Bottega Spa supports Beatrice Zagato‘s Progetto Vulcano in collaboration with the University Hospital of Padua.

Progetto Vulcano originates from the hope that creativity and art can awaken an inner strength within us even in the most difficult times. This artistic and social activity involves medium and long-stay patients, their families and hospital health workers, who will be able to experiment with drawing, painting and other forms of artistic expression. The activities are held in a dedicated creative space within the University Hospital of Padua.

In this 3-month course, which started in February, creative expression is intended to become the engine for connecting and humanising patient care. The aim is to stimulate a sense of community and hope, making the time spent in hospital meaningful.

In this way, a place of encounter and dialogue is created, capable of generating new connections between people and thus bringing out new strength and energy. The works realised is progressively exhibited, creating a visual path that will document the evolution of this activity. Progetto Vulcano will culminate with the creation of a work by artist Beatrice Zagato, inspired by the patients’ drawings and messages. In the end, the painting will remain on display in the hospital as a symbol of strength, hope and continuity.

As a company sensitive to social issues, Bottega supports Progetto Vulcano because it believes in the value of art as a form of expression and therapy.
