NEW BOTTEGA PROSECCO BAR AT ISTANBUL AIRPORT

On 31 January, the new Bottega Prosecco Bar opened in the international departure area of Istanbul Airport.

The new Bacaro Bottega is located in the centre of the Luxury Hall and is surrounded by the boutiques of famous fashion brands. In addition, Istanbul Airport has significantly increased air traffic in recent years and is now one of the world’s major hubs. This makes the location a key part of the development of the Bottega Prosecco Bar concept.

Bottega Prosecco Bar reworks the traditional Venetian bacaro into a concept that can be reproduced worldwide. Travellers will be able to try the ‘Perfect Match’, which is the ideal combination of typical food from Italian regional cuisines and the different wines offered by Bottega. The extensive range of wines includes Prosecco, sparkling wines from fine grape varieties, great reds such as Amarone della Valpolicella, Brunello di Montalcino, Ripasso della Valpolicella), dessert wines, a selection of white and barrique grappas, and fruit and cream-based liqueurs.

In recent years, the Prosecco Bar offer has been progressively expanded to include signature cocktails, created by expert bartenders, organic wines and liqueurs and, more recently, alcohol-free sparkling wines, which are emerging as a new consumer trend.
