Eno-Bee Project
For the reintroduction of the bee in the vineyard.
In May 2022, the company decided to embrace the Eno-Bee project, which aims to reintroduce bees into the vineyard. 300,000 bees have therefore been placed in our Organic vineyard in the Prosecco hills, a choice in the name of sustainability as bees play a very important role in maintaining biodiversity. Their presence is also a thermometer to measure the healthiness of an area.
The vineyard that hosts the beehives is located in Vittorio Veneto, in an area that is partly wooded and characterised by a beautiful landscape. Only Glera grapes, from which Prosecco originates, are cultivated here. In this natural setting, six hives with approximately 60,000 bees each have been placed. After about 8 months with the harvested honey we made a small, limited-run production. It consists of about 200 jars of Millefiori Honey made to promote the Eno-Bee project on environmental protection and monitoring the healthiness of the territory.
