Valpolicella is a land with a great wine-growing history: its name ‘val polis cellae’ means ‘the valley of many cellars’. Several native varieties are cultivated here, such as Corvina Veronese, Corvinone, Rondinella and Molinara. From these grapes come important red wines of great originality and typicality, which have achieved international fame.
Amarone, besides being the king of this area, is also one of the most important Italian wines, which has been able to distinguish itself thanks to its unique and inimitable personality, and its character as a wine with ancient origins, but at the same time a modern appeal.
